About Kevin. Gospel Artist / Song Writer

Kevin was born in Ville Platte, LA to Lionel Fontenot and the late Lille Mae Fontenot, and was raised in Belaire Cove, La which is a small country community right outside of Ville Platte. Kevin is the proud father of four Kids: Adolise Fontenot, Kortisha Guillory, Kourey Shelton, and Jada Shelton.

Kevin started out in the music ministry at a young age playing the drums for various local churches and artists. Kevin knew he had a passion for singing, so at the age of 17 he begin to sing publicly. Kevin and his oldest brother Jeffery Freeman, who is now a minister started a Gospel Group By The Name of Christ Gospel Singers. Group Members: Ronald Fontenot (younger brother), Donald Thomas, Donald Thomas Jr., Norman Gallow, Salvador Thomas, and the late Napoleon Freeman.

Kevin's desire is to use his gift of music, to usher people into the presence of God. Kevin prays that the listeners will feel encouraged and strengthened. He became a Ordained Minister while being under the leadership of his spiritual father Elijah Jones Sr who is Pastor of Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church located in Smyrna, Georgia.

Kevin is a truck driver by profession, as well as a songwriter. Kevin have shared the stage with various National Recording Artists like Doc Makenzie and Gospel Highlights, Late Willie Neal Johnson and Gospel Keynotes, The Williams Brothers, The William Singers, The Racey Brothers just to name a few and Paul Porter who he is now being produced by in the Gospel Music Industry.

Kevin is not a stranger to adversity. Kevin found himself in a dark place facing many obstacles. While living in the basement of a friend's home, Kevin begin to pray. God answered Kevin saying; "You will Win Kevin". Kevin begin writing the song You will Win, after that prayer.

Kevin is grateful for the life that God has blessed him to live. Kevin's favorite scriptures are; Proverbs 3:5-6 and Jeremiah 29:11. Kevin is currently writing new songs to bless the body of Christ.

Kevin's hobbies include; outreach, fishing, hunting, cooking and camping.

About Paul. Producer

Paul Porter has been a native Mississippian for well over 25 years. He moved from Detroit, Michigan to Mississippi in 1978 and at that juncture, began to pursue his National Gospel Music career. Paul signed his first National Record Deal with Atlanta International Records (AIR) at the tender age of 19. As Paul continued to transition upwards through his music career, he was signed to many other National Record Labels and currently, Paul Porter is signed with Motown Records.

For nearly three decades, Paul Porter has endeared himself to Gospel music lovers around the world. As a founding member, leading vocalist, songwriter, and producer of the legendary gospel group, The Christianaires, he earned numerous nominations and a w a r d s including, GRAMMY®, DOVE, and STELLAR Awards and was inducted into the GOSPEL MUSIC HALL of FAME.

Paul’s path is a daily walk of faith and he lives his life by the scripture, “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths”. Proverbs 3:6 KJV
